We design gardens for all inhabitants in mind (people, children pets AND we expand our landscape philosophy to include native plants as a critically important food source for birds and beneficial insects, to create designated spaces specifically for their food specific to their needs. We can also incorporate native plants through all the existing gardens, remove adjacent lawn to expand current beds as well as remove lawn areas to create new beds. We'd like to invite you to join our mutual contribution to impact our local communities
We do our best to attend to the many nuances for each individual client. Our bigger goal is to find 30 clients who want to install pollinator gardens anywhere and everywhere and our programs are designed for practically anyone to install some type of pollinator garden. The fun part is then watching them come and we provide you with a tracking form to do it as well as several other ways to enhance yours and the pollinator's needs. They are some of the most important inhabitants of our planet and one third of all birds and insect species are now EXTINCT.
If 1 of every 3 bites of food we eat requires pollination and now that a third are already extinct, we have our work cut out for us. Let's rally together to save the pollinators through our love and compassion rather than fear. Like the bees, lets collaborate with each other, sharing and inviting others to participate without pressure and each in their own loving and kind way.
The first step is to begin checking in with your feelings about it as the sadness of the situation can feel overwhelming and the global discourse can be confusing. We believe that embracing the situation with as high of a "frequency" as we can, we will be able to live in more harmony. More and more people are becoming aware of it and groups of all types are embracing the call to action. One of our slogans is BE LOVE!
Scientists have been studying this for decades and the decline is becoming more and more noticeable with disappearance in increasingly alarming numbers. Please also know that every small act to plant native plants matters and creating habitats in our yards for biodiversity is a profound act with benefits in every direction. Once people start converting their plant choices to native instead of invasive or lacking in much nutrition for either the humans or the pollinators, see the results of ceasing to use any and all types of chemicals in their yards, and create a biodiverse backyard habitat, it can feel life changing. Most native plants tend to be deer resistant, though not all and while we do stay on the cutting edge of knowledge to support our clients and neighbors on ways to protect your investment, we are not liable for deer, ground hog, rabbit and other pest damages once the gardens are installed.
